Hi everyone!!

I know this is coming a little bit late, the two of us are juggling a lot more this month than we originally anticipated BUT HEY!!!! We funded at 16k!!! That's both insane and incredible!! We didn't beat our last campaigns funding goal BUT we did beat the number of backers and we came REAL CLOSE. I'm honestly still pretty emotional about it. This group of stories really meant a lot to the person who wrote them (me, Winter) and its always really touching to find folks willing to give them a chance for the first time.

Or folks coming back to just collect every iteration of these stories they possibly can ;;A;; <3

So what's next, where do we go from here? I know the date on the project rewards says November 2024.... that's a tight turnaround (the only thing I didn't tweak when I pushed the project from June/July/August to end of September/October). HOWEVER..... I'm going to be spending the next week or two working out the last kinks in the formatting for the book & its cover while we wait for the funds to drop. Then I can give you final book looks and specs before surveys roll out and the order goes in. 

As for the hardcover, we didn't hit the goal which is unfortunate--BUT I will be creating a pre-order listing on the Backerkit pledge manager for those who want to show their interest. If the item reaches its funding goal we will print it. If not, well we sure did do our best!!

For now-- all we can ask is for folks to please double check your cards, there's a good 20-or-so people who have errored (we will be sending you a little message after this just to let you know who you are). Kickstarter usually gives you 1 week to fix the issue (in this case, by Thursday October 17). We're urging folks to sort it out if possible before then or you'll have to pledge through the Backerkit after the fact if you still want to back the project!

This page will still be taking late pledges until the pledge manager is set up (about 1-2 weeks) so if you know anyone who might be interested in the book feel free to share the project with them!

Otherwise that's all I have for you for now! Thank you all for all of your support on this series. It's been extremely heartwarming to get this much support on it... yet AGAIN.

8 HOURS LEFT--THE FINAL STRETCH

Hi everyone!!

Wow what a wild ride this has been already! I'm just popping in with a quick little update in case things get a little loopy in the end here. I'm sure folks will have a lot of questions--

FIRST-- WE HIT 15,000!! MY GOSH! What an adventure! It's wild to see this series get this much love a SECOND time around!!

But we've still got 8 hours to hit the 20k stretch goal and with the way things are progressing even still, this CAN HAPPEN all the same! But honestly??? I'll be elated even if we hit 17k and beat our own personal funding record for books! <3

That being said, if we DO wind up hitting the stretch goal for the hardcover with only minutes-to-hours left of the campaign we WILL be providing folks with the option in the pledge manager to upgrade their pledges to the hardcover (or a collectors double for both books) should you be interested in doing so. No pressure, no stress, no worries.

We are also going to be testing out Kickstarter's Late Pledges system for a 2 week period after the campaign is over. Folks pledging late will only be able to access the Knight physical reward tier and will only be able to select this reward at an increase to $35 CAD (the softcover anthology will be available on our shop later at $40 CAD, so your best bet is the pledge during the campaign before it ends)!

That's all I have for now, lets get this hardcover FUNDED and really give this series that send off.

FINAL 3 DAYS!!

Hey everyone!

Just checking in one last time before the rowdiness of the next couple days sets in! This campaign has, so far, FAR exceeded my expectations! I'm thrilled and over the moon <3

We still have our final stretch goal to hit: $20,000 unlocks a hardcover reprint of the book (it would also be the first time EVER for a book campaign of ours to hit such a high funding amount). Our goal seems steep right now but a LOT can happen and a LOT can change in these final hours <3 We could really use all your help sharing and boosting this project now to bring that bad boy to life~!

Thank you all so much for your help so far! I'm not in the huge habit of doing something like this (though I'd like to start making it a bit more of a habit~) but I also have a recommendation after a creative approached me with their project! I feel like it goes without saying that the words "Sapphic Monster Romance" might be something a few of you would be interested in (ngl the tagline "Idiots to lovers" totally got me). That's all for now! We've got THREE DAYS to unlock a gorgeous hardcover edition of our anthology. It seems steep MAYBE EVEN IMPOSSIBLE-- but I've seen crazier things happen in my time on Kickstarter (10k in a single day??? WOW) I think with a good push we can make it happen!!

Woahh we're halfway there??

Hi everyone!

I'm feeling a bit silly and a bit cheeky even if it is dark and gloomy today in Montreal. This weather gets me into the reading brain and the writing brain~!

BUT HEY! Down to business....

We've unlocked all the bells and whistles to the softcover edition!! Here's a mockup of what the main cover of this bad boy is gonna look like:

A good ol' spot foil with a bit of a rainbow finish (like the original hardcover). We are still tweaking and fiddling and nothing is set in stone until the end of the campaign but this is what we're looking at so far! 

NOTE: if we hit the new Hardcover stretch goal, this will be the new hardcover design and the softcover will look a bit different but be reminiscent of the original mini softcover editions (complete with funky rainbow spine). They will both look amazing but we'll address that properly when we get there ;)

BUT on THAT NOTE we sure have hit all but one of our current stretch goals!! WOWEE!! 

That means the sticker sheet was unlocked (we're changing this out to be individual stickers of all the story break illustrations from the original hardcover which I'm still extremely proud of):

These guys will be holographic and about 3 inches in size. It'll be $5 for one sticker $20 for the set for those who want to add them on we created add-ons for them for folks who want to adjust their pledges~!

For those unsure if they want to stick (hehe) to this add-on they will also definitely be available in the backerkit pledge manager after the fact!

Our next stretch goal is for the iron-on patch! If you want to show this series some love you'll be able to add this guy:

Its the logo I've been using for the series all these years! You'll be able to add these onto your pledges once we hit $9,000! <3

The Hardcover

I feel like this guy is the piece de resistance. The one many are looking forward to returning (or at least I am). We got burned a bit last time but took the hit financially. This time, we're not doing that so the goal is up at a scary:

$20,000 CAD!!

It seems scary but we've hit this number before and I think this series really deserves to go out with a bang. As mentioned above the hardcover would come back in it's original form with a new coat of paint (namely the cover gets a revamp) we love the old cover but everything needs a bit of a refresher after a few years <3

We'd like to add a few more bells and whistles to this one (gilded edges??? a fancy ribbon bookmark??). It wouldnt change TOO much from the original since I'm really fond of the way this book came out the first time~ 

That being said, if we DO unlock the hardcover I'd like to make the softcover look and feel different. The softcover will still come with swanky bells and whistles but will come in a bit more of a chonk format (4.25 inches by 7 inches) and will bring back the formatting from the original set of minis (some of that formatting featured black pages with white text and a lot more Mood in the formatting. I always liked this version too so I figured we'd make the best of both worlds)!

Of course, more on that when we get closer to the goal! I'll have a proper cover mockup for it and the hardcover by then.
